Synacom Networks Inc. has recently been selected to provide cabling and network services in the Northeast for two large retail store chains. With over 5000 stores to their credit, these companies both had one simple request; someone to show up on time and do the job right. For some reason that seems to be a rare commodity these days but it is also how we do business - show up on time, do it right and fill out the paperwork!...

Cat 3, Cat 5, Cat 6, Cat 7? Why so many standards?These are all valid standards and all have their place in today's computing environments. Your choice of cabling system will be influenced by both price and performance.Cat 3 has been around a long time and is typically used for telephone circuits. Cat 5 is still the predominant cabling standard with Cat 6 running a close second....

The Regal job is complete and the only real problems we had were with logistics. We found that certain items common to all of the sites were back ordered throughout most of the project. Fortunately we have our own source for the missing items and we able to supply ourselves as well as other regional installers on the same nationwide project. Nobody ever got used to working nights but we have enough people to facilitate rotation....
